The IOUG's 2006 annual educational event, the IOUG Forum at COLLABORATE 06, was held April 23-27 in Nashville, Tennessee, and provided one central location for education and networking with the greater Oracle community. Thank you to the IOUG Forum Planning Committee for organizing a successful event!

Throughout the week more than 200 technical sessions were presented across six focus areas including DBA, Architecture & Infrastructure, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence, Application Server and Web Services, Developer and Professional Development. Attendees also benefited from time spent in the innovative COLLABORATE 06 Exhibitor Showcase, where more than 225 top IT solution providers showcased the latest technologies and services in the industry.

The Forum began on Sunday with University Seminars held to offer attendees an opportunity to get in-depth information on the topic of choice through full-day seminars led by expert speakers.

Starting Monday, IOUG leaders, Ari Kaplan, President, Michael Abbey, Director of Events and David Teplow, Director of Education, kicked off the week at the IOUG Opening General Session.
