Elevate your Oracle proficiency with knowledge packed educational sessions. Take full advantage of the COLLABORATE 06 experience by choosing several session formats throughout the week.

Quick Tips

Quick Tips are 30 minute presentation that highlights a few valuable tricks, tips, and techniques. Similar to the Technical Sessions, they are taught by fellow users. The new and exciting tips presented in these sessions can be used immediately for more effective development, deployment, and maintenance of databases and applications.

Technical Sessions

Technical Sessions are 1-hour sessions designed to impart practical knowledge, data, and tips and techniques relating to the topic areas highlighted under each Focus Area. Fellow users will present one-hour technical sessions that relate to real-life experiences

Expert Technical Sessions

Expert Technical Sessions are taught by the highest-rated IOUG speakers in their respective areas. This two hour format gives you detailed information on real-world topics and challenges. Oracle users at all levels can benefit from attending these sessions.

Debates

Debates are interactive exchanges between two people (or two teams) who have opposing points of view on a subject. In these interactive exchanges, you’ll hear multiple viewpoints on the pressing topics surrounding Oracle technology and solutions.

Hands-on Labs

Hands-on Labs -- New this year! Hands-on Labs are an interactive format packed with technical content that shows you how exactly how to use the technology. There is no better way to learn. Sessions are instructor led, but attendees are required to bring their own laptop.

University Seminars

University Seminars held on Sunday and Thursday, these seminars are packed with intensive training, and are offered in both a full-day and half-day format. The instructors are well-known Oracle professionals and there are a variety of seminar topics to choose from. An additional fee is charged to attend a University Seminar.

Panels

Panels are ad-hoc question and answer sessions that a focus on a particular topic. The panel consists of four individuals.
