Jamie Clarke
Canadian Adventurer

"Real winning has nothing to do with beating someone else, or crossing the finish line first, or standing on top. Winning isn't anything external at all. It is an internal satisfaction, a deep inner sense of pride and joy." --Jamie Clarke

Jamie Clarke is an entrepreneur in the business of adventure. He has found a way to follow his passion and achieve success. With humor and drama, this climber, cross-country ski champion, and adventure traveller uses his twenty-plus years of mountain and adventure experience in dozens of exciting seminars each year. Jamie became the ninth Canadian to summit Mount Everest, on May 23, 1997.

In this presentation Jamie will share with you one of his most recent adventures - a camel crossing of over 700 miles through Arabia's Empty Quarter, the most desolate and dangerous desert in the world. Jamie's "Secrets of the Desert" presentation shares his team's journey of contrast and perseverance with breath-taking images.

While sharing from his heart with humor and passion, Jamie will challenge you to persevere through all obstacles - to live in the now, not in the past or the future - to resolve conflicts - to lead others by empowering them to live a life of passion.
