With the ever increasing demand for Oracle Application Server implementations, more and more customers are questioning about the Security of their data. The Application Server (Portal) authentication starts with Oracle's implementation of LDAP (OID) and carries all the way down to the database level (VPD). In this session, we will see how to integrate the two together and use that to implement workbooks using Oracle Portal and Oracle Discoverer.
