Onsite Information

IOUG PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS:

IOUG Forum attendees will have advance access to the papers and presentations that will be given at the IOUG Forum. As an added bonus, the IOUG will be offering onsite wireless Internet access, so you can conveniently browse the online session proceedings while at the conference. Since wireless Internet is being offered, session handouts will not be provided onsite.

We highly recommend you print any session materials and bring them with you or access them virtually while at the conference. For your convenience, zip files sorted by track have been created to allow for downloading of sessions in bulk.

IOUG Session Recordings and IOUG Forum Proceeding CD ROMs will also be available for purchase onsite at the IOUG registration desk.

REGISTRATION NOTES:

Registration is located Delta Lobby B of the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center and registration hours are as follows.

Sunday, April 23, 2006 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday, April 24, 2006 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, April 25, 2006 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 26, 2006 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 27, 2006 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Paid attendees may pick up materials at the Advance Registration area. You will need to bring a picture ID with you when you check-in. Providing your registration confirmation will also speed up the registration check-in procedure. Please remember you can only pick up your own and your guest's badge.

Your registration must be paid in full in order to pick up your forum materials. If you have an outstanding balance, you will be asked to present your credit card onsite. If you wish to add an additional Sunday or Thursday University Seminar onsite, please proceed to the IOUG onsite registration desk.

You must wear your badge at all forum functions. Should you lose your badge, there is a $15 replacement fee.

For security reasons, please also carry a picture ID with you at all forum functions.

ONCE YOU ARRIVE:

Gaylord Opryland Airport Shuttle:
The Gaylord Opryland offers an air-conditioned airport shuttle luxury motor coach to take you to and from Nashville International Airport. The fare is $15.00 USD one-way and $23.00 USD round-trip. To purchase shuttle tickets, stop by the Gaylord Opryland welcome desk at the Ground Transportation area on the lower level of the airport. Look for the green-and-white Gaylord Opryland shuttle outside. The shuttle runs continuously from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with the last shuttle leaving at 11:00 p.m. every day.

Taxis:
From the airport, the taxi meter starts at $4.50 USD and the rate is $2.00 USD per mile. The rate is approximately $22 USD to the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Driving Directions from the Nashville International Airport:
- Leave the airport complex and go west on Interstate 40
- Proceed to Exit 215 and take Briley Parkway - 155 North
- Go to and exit the parkway at Exit 12
- Turn left off the exit ramp onto McGavock Pike
- Turn left at the first intersection into the Gaylord Opryland Complex

The IOUG Forum educational sessions and the Exhibitor Showcase are located the Gaylord Opryland Conference Center. Please see the Program & Exhibitor Showcase Guide for session, event and exhibit locations. The Gaylord Opryland Conference Center is located at:

Parking:
Self parking at the Gaylord Opryland is $10 USD per day and valet parking is $18 USD per day

SAFETY AND SECURITY POLICY:

Uniformed security will be on duty throughout the hotel. While onsite, you should carry an official photo ID at all times.

To obtain your badge and/or badge holder, you must present your photo ID. Each registered attendee will only be allowed to pick up their own badge and his her guest's badge. Please note that guests under the age of 18 are not permitted. You cannot pick up badges for any other attendee. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this guideline.

Please expect delays and allow extra time when arriving onsite. If you have meetings, appointments or forum sessions to attend, please arrive as early as possible. We encourage all attendees to register on Sunday, April 23 to avoid delays in lines on Monday morning.

IOUG reserves the right to take any security measures it deems appropriate to increase the safety of our exhibitors and attendees, without prior notice. WIRELESS ACCESS:

Wireless access is available in the Tennessee Lobby A, Exhibition Hall, Canal and Bayou Lobby, and the Presidential Lobby. Conference Messaging Kiosks are also available in the Exhibitor Showcase and Tennessee Lobby B.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Attire: The dress code for COLLABORATE 06 is business casual. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable! Meeting rooms are often cool so we recommend you dress in layers.
