This track will cover high-level architecture and approaches to enterprise backup. Learn about how Oracle fits in and what RMAN, RAC and Data Guard can meet your company's high-availability needs, especially since enterprise security and data protection is a big concern these days. And, if your company is involved with B2B or B2C, then you also need to deal with EDI. From the operating system, client/server and networking issues to storage management, clustering and RAID, this track will give you what you need to ensure a smooth running and maintained database.
The Oracle database continues to come with more and more features and as a result as become more complicated. On top of all of the daily challenges of maintaining a high performance database, now you have to be sure the data is available 24x7 and compatible and deployable to other systems. This track is designed to provide DBAs of every experience level and industry with the tools to productively and creatively administer your data.
Working in application development means you need to know an alphabet soup of languages and need to be able to perform a balancing act between Web-based, wireless and client/server applications. What will give you the edge to create successful applications? Do you use Oracle's suite of tools or do you need to look for something that you can integrate? And, most importantly, how will your applications be used - with wireless technology, through a portal? Will your forms and reports be used on an Intranet or on the Internet? This track will answer all your questions while covering the topics that surround the development and deployment of your applications.

This track will help you deliver your information and secure it as well as configure, utilize and tune the power of the application server.
