Building a Content Management Strategy for Accounts Payable

This presentation will detail using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to build a data warehouse at Printpack Inc from multiple sources (JD Edwards and Legacy systems). Printpack is in the process of rolling out the JD Edwards ERP to each of our 26 plants. Since the implementation started around 2005, we have been in a constant state of limbo with data in two different systems, and a data warehouse was needed for users to have a full picture of Printpack’s data. In this presentation I will detail our struggles with: a) incremental strategies (when audit data from E1 is not reliable)b) data quality issuesc) reconciling data inconsistencies that arise when you are running two systemsd) user ownership of the data quality issues
