Meet Our Speakers
Erik Benner is a published author and currently works as a Solution Architect with BIAS Corp, focusing on solutions that meet the customer’s business needs. Erik has worked with Oracle systems since the late 90s and is experienced with most of the Engineered Systems, focusing on holistic designs combining database, middleware and virtualization technologies. Erik is a frequent speaker at Oracle events (OOW, COLLABORATE and local events). Erik is also actively engaged with the IOUG Solaris SIG and both the IOUG and OUAG OEM SIGs. When not working, Erik enjoys spending time with his family at their Observatory, where the telescopes outnumber the people.
Tim Mooney has been in product management, business development, and marketing positions in the computer industry for nearly 20 years, including Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Motorola. His experience spans industries from telecommunications and financial services and products from servers to integrated infrastructure. He is currently director of product marketing for Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle's first and most popular Engineered System.
