Hey there, JDE Connection listeners! Welcome back to another exciting episode of the JDE Connection Podcast with your hosts, Chandra Wobschall and Paul Houtkooper featuring a conversation with Ken Piddington, Vice President and Chief Information Officer at US Silica Company.

In this episode, we dive into the new Quest Emerging Leaders Program, a fantastic initiative aimed at nurturing future leaders within the Quest Oracle community. Ken starts off by sharing his involvement with Quest over the past four years. As a board member and committee member, he has played a pivotal role in revitalizing Quest’s in-person events and spearheading new initiatives like the Emerging Leaders Program. This program is all about helping directors and above take their leadership skills to the next level and make a more significant impact on their organizations.

Paul and I were inspired by Ken’s insights into the ever-evolving business landscape. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and development, not just for individuals but also for the success of entire organizations. The program offers a unique blend of opportunities for peer networking, mentorship, and in-depth learning sessions on key leadership competencies such as communication, strategic focus, and business acumen.

The program’s structure is thoughtfully designed to balance participants’ day-to-day responsibilities with their learning journey. It combines in-person and virtual sessions, one-on-one mentoring, a book club and a capstone project for added enrichment. We were particularly excited about the personalized self-assessment that helps tailor the program to each participant’s specific needs and goals.

This program is open to both members and non-members of Quest and offers a unique opportunity to invest in your leadership development and contribute to your organization’s success. For those interested in learning more about the Quest Emerging Leaders Program, keep an eye out for announcements at next week’s BLUEPRINT 4D, May 7 – 10, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas TX.
