Why is Project Management important to members of the IOUG?
Project Managers take management responsibility for the managing the schedule, budget and quality constraints of software projects. They work with the customers and the developers to scope the project, estimate the work involved, set expectations for the task and project schedule, assess and manage risks and any impediments, and the post-project lessons learned. This SIG will highlight the important role that project managers play in the success of a project.
