Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

The goal of IOUG SIGs is to facilitate technical information sharing and peer-to-peer collaboration. This is achieved with face-to-face meetings, technical resources, tips, links, and list serves which are on the individual SIG websites and which can be accessed via the links below. In addition, SIGs will hold in-person annual meetings, technical sessions and roundtable at the IOUG Forum of COLLABORATE 08. By providing multiple channels for user driven education, the IOUG ensures that the Oracle community will continue to grow and prosper.

    OSSA Security Survey Podcast

    The IOUG SIGs and Oracle are currently conducting a joint security survey. The purpose of this survey is to gather information about your security practices including general processes for vulnerability and patch management, Critical Patch Updates, etc. The results will be analyzed and used to issue recommendations to Oracle at Oracle's next Security Customer Advisory Council.
