IOUG Welcomes BEA to Oracle User Community

The Independent Oracle Users Group ( IOUG ) would like to be the first to welcome BEA Systems, Oracle's recent acquisition, to the Global Oracle user community. BEA Systems, a leading provider of enterprise application infrastructure solutions, provides database complementary middleware products and technologies, which allow user community members to more easily build, deploy, and manage applications.

“The IOUG is pleased to welcome all BEA customers to the user group community,” said Ian Abramson, IOUG President. “These new customers now have the opportunity to access the mindshare, resources and programs from organizations like IOUG, affiliated Regional User Groups, and the greater Oracle community of user groups. BEA customers immediately have access to a user community to network, share ideas, experiences, and best practices among an even larger audience of experts, and advocate their needs and desires through this diverse, collective community.”

The IOUG is committed to providing its members with the real-world information they need to perform their job better and more efficiently. This includes up-to-date strategy and product information from Oracle, year-round networking with fellow Oracle users through regional user groups, Special Interest Groups and discussion forums, and education through customer-driven publications and online resources.

Those interested in joining the IOUG can experience it at the trial Associate level at no charge by selecting the Membership link for sign up at www.ioug.org.
