COLLABORATE 13 - IOUG Forum
Why is COLLABORATE 13 co-presented by three users groups?
Joining forces to co-present COLLABORATE 13 allows the IOUG, OAUG, and Quest to bring you the best practices and user-driven training that each user group offers. Plus, COLLABORATE 13 attendees will have access to the greater Oracle community – more exhibitors, Oracle representatives and other Oracle users.
Each organization will put together its own slate of educational content and plan activities geared specifically to its respective community, but at the end of the day, we all benefit from the shared COLLABORATE experience. The IOUG, OAUG, and Quest will continue to function as independent users groups serving separate audiences.
Where is COLLABORATE 13 taking place?
COLLABORATE 13 is being held April 7-11, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO.
Is Oracle participating in COLLABORATE 13?
Yes. COLLABORATE is grateful to have Oracle's support and participation, in both the Exhibitor Showcase and via keynote presentations and educational sessions.
How many people are anticipated to be in attendance?
More than 6,000 attendees came to COLLABORATE 12, and we expect more to be at COLLABORATE 13. But we're careful to bring every attendee the ease of finding specific content that applies to them, as well as a fun, close-knit gathering with the greater Oracle community in addition to the events planned by each of our three groups.
How much will the event cost?
For budgeting purposes, plan on early bird rates for members in the range of $1,500 and non-member rates in the range of $1,800.
Can I access all three organizations' education/events?
Yes, although there are some events, such as pre-conference training sessions, that are limited to the registrants of each individual users group.
Each organization collects registrations from its users independently, but COLLABORATE 13 attendees have access to the education and events planned by all of the groups, with a few exceptions. More education is one of the biggest benefits of COLLABORATE 13, which functions like three conferences in one. You must register directly with your affiliated organization to receive accurate communications pertinent to your product line/area of interest.
If I am interested in only certain technologies or applications, will I still have options?
Yes. Each of our groups lists their education offerings on their respective Web sites, where you can find the sessions that are specific to your area of interest. The event will feature content and tracks specific to database and applications users alike.
Who can I contact if I'm interested in sponsorship, exhibiting or advertising?
Exhibit/sponsorship sales contacts are as follows: Jim Conlon, Sales Manager at jconlon@ioug.org
