Oracle defines grid computing as the coordinated use of many small servers acting as one computer. Grids are built with low cost components, so you can start with a small investment and expand your grid as your business grows. The benefits of grid computing are:

- Computing power delivered on demand
- Automatic load balancing of your systems
- Grid Control for easy management of your IT Infrastructure

Oracle Database 10g is being touted by Oracle as the world's most affordable, self-managing database software. It introduces advanced capabilities that eliminate hundreds of complex, repetitive administration tasks such as performance diagnostics, application tuning and memory management. The database also provides companies with a grid computing infrastructure to achieve the highest levels of efficiency from existing information technology (IT) investments. Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Application Server 10g are generally available on several platforms. Links to download pages are below in the "From Oracle" section.

This page is a compilation of 10g information from numerous sources. We will continue to update this page to keep you informed on 10g related news and offerings.
